Capturing Timeless Moments with Utah Family Photography at White Space Studios
As a Utah photographer, I'm blessed to be able to create beautiful, authentic moments for both weddings and families; memories to cherish for years to come. One of my favorite places to capture young families, and specifically lifestyle newborn sessions, is White Space Studios in Bountiful, UT. This natural light studio offers the perfect setting for capturing clean and timeless moments.
There’s something truly magical about photographing newborns. My dad always says, "It's because they're fresh out of heaven. If they could speak, just imagine what they could tell us about it." And I must agree with him. It's like getting to snuggle little angels, as pure as they come.
The soft, glowing light floods the space, creating an atmosphere that feels warm, calm, and peaceful. It allows me to capture those tiny fingers, sleepy smiles, and sweet snuggles in a way that’s intimate and organic.
Working with the entire family is my favorite way to capture newborn sessions. I love seeing the older siblings, who are usually wild and rambunctious, take on the role of snuggle buddy and protector/nurturer to these fresh little souls. I'm also just a sucker for photos of a loving, dedicated father holding his baby girl to his chest, or a mother holding her baby and kissing those tiny fingers and toes and silky soft cheeks.
As a fine art family photographer, my goal is to tell your family’s unique story through timeless, honest images. During newborn photography sessions, I love to focus on those delicate early moments – the way your baby fits perfectly in your arms or how they stretch and yawn in their sleep. If I can capture a newborn sneeze that's just icing on the cake.
